Sorry I haven’t been posting lately. I can’t believe I even missed Halloween! Please forgive my stupidity.

I have three major updates to blab about.

1. The new island!!! *squeals* Coming soon iiiiiiiisss Ghost Story Island!!  I have to admit it’s a little late, but maybe I’m the one whos out of date. 
2. The new Poptropica Wish List.  For all you fanatics who cant get enough of your epic Poptropi-fan toys, here’s a golden opportunity.  It lists all of (at least I think all) the Poptropica toys so far.  Most of them come with perks like a free mini-game or Gold Card, so these might be something for an avid collector (Poptropica-wise and for real:))
3. Finally, Legendary Swords.  I haven’t got a real chance to play it yet, actually, but I count on it being great.   Which reminds me: there’s a new-ish “free+” icon on most of the free cards.  That means all members get a little more out of the game.  Catch my drift?  Well, remember the shrink shot game?  And how there was extra upgrades and stuff for members?  Well, that’s what the free+ icon is for.  I hear there is a certain point where non-mems can’t pass in Legendary Swords.

Hear that?  The legend is coming! (squee!)  11/11/11 is the big day for the new legendary swords thingy.  Is it like, a mini game?  Maybe it’s gonna be available in the store…

A brand new announcment from like a few minutes ago from the Creators!!    Okay, this isn’t really much of an update, but still.  A brand new free costume is available 4 free 4 teh members!  Game Show Robot (whoahz!) 2 celebrate the addition of our 21st island on Poptropica: Game Show Island comes out for Early Acess in two days.  Woohoo!  If you are a member go RIGHT NOW to the “click here now” page and please please email me if ur up 2 the job.  I neeeed you. *makes puppy dog face*  Thank you and goodnight!

Uh-oh…Are we out of a job?!!

This is a topic I’ve been wondering about for a few weeks now:

You see, remember when the Creators released the “in-game guide” for Astro Knights island?  And when they later began promoting Poptropica: the official guide?  Well at first I wasn’t sure of it, but I’ve actually seen the book!  It contains…get this…EXPLICIT DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO BEAT ALL THE ISLANDS.  Plus an exclusive scavenger hunt.  Are they trying to stamp out these kinds of cheat blogs?

Sure, it is cheating (duh) but it’s a great way to get to know new people and stuff like that.  Many of us thrive on these blogs.

Well, I bet I could if I actually sat my butt down and tried, but I’m just too lazy.    Tehe.  Did you guess right?  We’re about to find out soon!  Captain Crawfish has promised to reveal the answers this week, so stay tuned.

GAH!! I’M SO SORRY!!

I’m soooooooooooooooooooooo sorry I haven’t been posting in, uh, A LONG TIME!!  To make up for it here is my very own walkthrough for the new minigame “Money ladder”: the teaser for Game Show Island.  I know technically (did I spell that right?) I’m not really supposed to be making up my own walkthroughs, but this was simply irresistable.

So first, y’know, the guy talks a bunch, then your person struts up to the money ladder amid loud cheers from the crowd of robots and people.  Woo-hoo.

Here is what it should look like each time you move up the ladder.  All you have to do is select the answer you think is right.  Easy?  Well some of these really had me stumped.  There are several types of questions, such as

The homophone ones – Homophones are two words that sound the same, but their meanings and spellings are different.  So just read the two definitions and choose the pair of words that match.  Read them aloud if you have to.

The movie ones – Okay, these ones are kind of tricky because not everyone sees all these movies or has the capacity to remember them well. :P So here’s a trick for non-members: Click on one of the buttons around the phone icon above the question.  See it?  A message will appear to tell you only members can activate this function.  This will temporarily freeze the timer, allowing you to open up Google and search what you need.

The music ones – I had to use the same googling trick to do these.  If you know the song already, great.

Anyways, there are other questions too, but I felt these were the ones that need to be adressed most.  Good luck winning the game!!   I hope I helped you and am not a gibbering moron.  Prizes below:
